I’m always searching for a balance between being a career woman, wife, mother and friend. My most important role is being the mom of two beautiful children. In addition to being beautiful they are also hilarious, entertaining, crazy and sometimes naughty.
I started this blog in 2010 to document the crazy ride in this thing we call life. Let the adventure begin!
Cleft Awareness Foundation
Our daughter Ella was born on November 26, 2008 with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. After going through some difficult operations and a lot of uncertainty, we felt it was important to help others that are going through or will go through the same things – and Cleft Awareness Foundation was born.
We started a Facebook community to provide support, offer resources, share stories, find insurance tips, and other good stuff for people who might be looking for answers. Our goal is to create a network of families to help support each other and offer advice. Eventually as we grow we would like to raise money and take donations to help children and families in need.
